Shannon Schlicher, APRN, FNP-C is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in family medicine with an emphasis on obesity management. She received her Graduate Degree from University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her Bachelor Degree from Queens University of Charlotte. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Metrolina Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and certified in obesity medicine by the AANP. With a background in adult critical care, Shannon spent years treating chronic illnesses such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and type two diabetes. Knowing the majority of comorbidities can be reversed, even eradicated through healthy weight, Shannon found her passion in obesity medicine. Now she has the pleasure of helping hundreds of satisfied clients reach their weight-loss goals, knowing they are adding years to their lives. Why continue to chase high blood pressure, cholesterol, and sugar levels with medication, when we can help put an end to America's obesity epidemic?
